Miradouro Vista do Rei

"Vista do Rei" - View of the King, received its name for being the site where King Carlos and Queen Amelia, from Portugal, appreciated the view over "Sete Cidades" Lake, during their royal visit to São Miguel Island in 1901.This is a natural viewpoint of excellence over the landscape of the "Sete Cidades" Lake volcanic complex, and one of Portugal's 7 natural wonders, being also one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Azores.
