4-Day Tanzania Camping Safari To Serengeti And Ngorongoro

Day 01 – Moshi toTarangire National Park
After the early breakfast, you will proceed for a full day game drive at Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch. You will have your dinner and stay overnight at Tarangire campsite.

Day 02 – Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast early in the morning, your driver guide will drive you from Tarangire to Serengeti National Park. You will set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. You will enjoy a good-looking four-hour drive, full day game drives together with late evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite.

Day 3 – Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will move from Serengeti to Ngorongoro. After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, you will be doing game on the route while you are at Serengeti way to Ngorongoro and you will be at Ngorongoro late in the evening where the night will be spent on the crater rim. Dinner and overnight stay will be served at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi
After the early breakfast, you will proceed directly to the crater floor for a full day crater game drive with picnic lunches down the crater whereby here you will be able to see all “big five” animals. Later, you will proceed back to the Airport or hotel in Moshi.

CAMPSITES

Seronera Campsite
Seronera Campsite is located in the Central Serengeti National Park. Seronera Campsite is one of the most famed campsites in Africa for animal encounters. This campsite is neither guarded nor fenced, animals will pass through the campsite at night on their nocturnal wanderings. Fire camps will make sure to chase predators at NIGHT. Your experience in this campsite will be authentic and close to nature. During your stay you will have sleeping mats and sleeping bags in the basic tents and access to the outside bathroom and shower.

Simba Campsite
Simba Campsite is located in Ngorongoro Conservation Area and it lies on the very rim of the crater with an excellent view across the caldera. A fantastic sunrise over the crater rim opposite makes a fine breakfast scene. Often there are elephants wandering around the camp. Facilities at Simba Campsite are basic but this is more than made up for by the atmosphere of this camp in the clouds. During your stay you will have sleeping mats and sleeping bags in the basic tents and access to the outside bathroom and shower. This camp is guarded by conservation rangers for security purpose.

Twiga Campsite
Twiga Lodge and Campsite is located at MtowaMbu, one and a half hour drive from Arusha town. Its extensive facilities and beautiful setting has made Twiga a very popular stopover along the route to many Northern Circuit tourist attractions. The camp has for more than 200 campers, as well as budget-tent facilities with outdoor bathrooms.
