Ancient Corinth Full-Day Private Tour Starting From Athens

- What Will You Do

1. Depart from Athens with your local guide on a private vehicle.
2. Our first stop will be at Corinth Canal. The Isthmus of Corinth is the narrow land bridge which connects the Peloponnese peninsula with the rest of the mainland of Greece, near the city of Corinth.
3. Afterwards, we'll visit Ancient Corinth and Acrocorinth. Acrocorinth the acropolis of ancient Corinth, is a monolithic rock overseeing the ancient city of Corinth. We'll do a peregrination and take a look at the majestic view this site has to offer.
4. Our next stop will be at Loutraki and more specifically at the Monastery of Osios Patapios. Patapios of Thebes is the patron saint of dropsy. Saint Patapios is well known for the miracles that he did in the past and still does nowadays, which are recorded with full details in the historical archives of the monastery which maintains a large library.
5. Then, we'll take a break for a meal at the city of Loutraki.
6. After our meal, we'll visit the Sanctuary of Goddess Hera in Perachora, beofore we arrive in Athens. The Heraion of Perachora is a sanctuary of the goddess Hera situated in a small cove of the Corinthian gulf at the end of the Perachora peninsula.
7. Return to your address in Athens.
