Rovinj: Wine Tour Of The Very Best Of Istria

- What Will You Do

You will visit three wineries, you will try fresh and aged wines made from indigenous grape varieties but also blends with international grape varieties. You will also visit historical sights and try the best traditional cuisine. All visited wineries are different between approach to the wine making and style of wines.

Some wineries have very long tradition, some are young, but all wineries are among best in Croatia with international recognition and international awards. You will be able to learn about different styles of production: long maceration, no maceration, ageing in barriques or in big wooden vessels.

- What Is Included

- During whole day, intensive tour in all wineries you would be accompanied by an expert guide or owner from each winery.
- Transportation (size of the car is adjusted to number of participants) with guiding, three professional wine tastings in noted wineries with rich, local snacks, visiting wine cellars and a 4-course meal with wine in a typical Istrian restaurant are included in price.
- We include only the best wineries and restaurants in my programs and wine tastings in wineries are scheduled by special arrangement. You are not obligated to buy wines, only if you wish to.

- Know Before You Go

- Tour starts at 9:30 am and we return about 7:00/7:30 pm.
- Tours are customized - no big groups, there is enough time to enjoy wine and nature. Minimum number of participants is 2, maximum 6.

- Transfers

We pick up our guests from their places of stay. If it is a pedestrian zone we give directions where is the meeting point.
We start our tours usually from Rovinj but we can organize a custom tour from other Istrian towns.
