Immerse yourself in Egyptian culture during this full-day private tour of the Giza Pyramids and local cooking class. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, which dates from the time of Chephren.

The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren. This temple served definitely two functions: First, it was used for the purification of the mummy of the king before its burial. Second, it was used for making the mummification process of the king.

Afterwards your guide will take you to an Egyptian family’s house. You will meet the family and enjoy a welcome drink, then you will go and explore a local Egyptian market. Afterwards you will head back to the family’s home for a cooking lesson for dinner.

Pick up from your hotel at 9am start to visit the - Pyramids of Giza On the West Bank of the Nile facing Cairo and on top of Giza plateau rise the three Pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Vlycerinus, guarded by the mysterious Sphinx, which is a mythical statue with the body of a lion and a human head. The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most important tourist site in Egypt.

You’ll spend the first part of the day exploring the ancient pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus with a professional guide.
You’ll also visit the historic Valley Temple, which played an important role in the Egyptian practice of mummification.

After seeing the sights you’ll meet up with a local family, who will welcome you into their home and take you on a tour of the nearby market. Cook and enjoy a delicious traditional dinner with your new friends before returning to your hotel in the evening.
