Activity that implies the descent on foot of Ribeira da Pena (Góis), taking advantage of waterfalls, natural slides, rock progression, abseiling and several passages in the water. This small river runs along a steep valley whose riverbed, riverbanks and slopes are formed by impressive boulders that make this place almost inaccessible. For this reason, this valley still serves as a refuge for rare and unique plants and animals. This is the most spectacular river in the Central Region, where the inhospitable and wild scenery (formed by innumerable waterfalls, lagoons and imposing cliffs) combine with lush vegetation and peculiar wildlife, making it worth the effort spent on this activity.
Each participant will be provided with the following material: wetsuit, neoprene socks, personal protective equipment (helmet, harness, descender), backpacks, and watertight containers.

- What Will You Do

This canyoning has initial rappelling of 35 meters to enter the river (optional - the organization will decide to do it or not, according to the group and the climatic conditions). There are about a dozen optional jumps of various heights. All the progression is made by the river stream (outside or inside the water), in which the use of rock progression and jumps are needed. In the end, participants will have to do 30 minutes walk to get to the village of Ribeira Cimeira.
