Our guided tour combines the old and the new of Cape Town’s urban landscape, with visits to The Castle of Good Hope, Adderley Street, The Bo-Kaap, The Company Gardens, St. George’s Mall and Green Point. We visit the Green Point Stadium, the impressive newly built sports venue that co-hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The newly landscaped Green Point Biodiversity Eco-Park is a must see for green enthusiasts and The Green Point Lighthouse happens to be the oldest working lighthouses in South Africa!

Expect to have fun whilst stretching your legs and getting an insight into the highlights of Cape Town. Ideal for the first time visitor on arrival to Cape Town. Participants do not need to be fit but are expected to be able to cycle in moderate traffic and around pedestrians in the streets. Please wear clothing suitable for cycling and not bring or wear any valuables.

Are children welcome to join the City cycle tour
We can cater for all children on our city cycle tour of Cape Town provided families book on a private cycling tour. Toddlers are free when using the bicycle seats for infants from 8 months to 2 years, or front seat for 2 – 4 years . Children bicycles from 4 to 14 years old are all available (size 20 and 24 inch). The cycling tour guide will modify the route on our private tour to suit the cycling ability of the children
Can the tour be done on an electric bicycle
Yes we do have electric bicycles available and participants can upgrade with an additional R350 per bike. Bookings do need to be made a day in advance to ensure that electric bicycles are charged
