Chapada Diamantina: Day-Trip To Cachoeira Do Mosquito And Poço Azul From Lençóis

From Lençóis, we will proceed to the south of the park, where we will visit Poço Azul, where it is possible to float with snorkel and vest in the crystal blue waters of the cave. In this fluctuation, it is as if we are flying, such is the transparency of the water.

The bluish color of the water comes from the high concentration of magnesium. In this same cave, several archaeological discoveries were made that are very important for science, which we will explain during the package.

Soon after, we will continue to Fazenda Santo Antônio. From there, we will follow a trail of approximately 3 km, in a 35-minute walk, until we reach the beautiful Mosquito Waterfall. The name refers to the small diamonds that have already been found in the region.

The waterfall has a 50 meter high waterfall that, besides providing several places for swimming, is also conducive to rappelling.
