Day 1. Skopje, North Macedonia
Arriving at Skopje Airport, meet your English-speaking guide, then head to the capital of North Macedonia. Dinner and overnight in Skopje.

Day 2. Skopje – Matka Canyon – Skopje, North Macedonia
Breakfast at your hotel then start the visit to a city destroyed by an earthquake in 1963 which has been able to completely rebuild and offer a unique experience. You will appreciate a city separated between two cultures and two different lifestyles between the Albanians of Macedonia with its old Ottoman bazaar “Čaršija” and the Macedonians with the “new city”.
Stroll through its new city center to discover its famous fortress “Tvrdina Kale” and its stone bridge “Kameni Most” which divides the city into two parts.
Lunch in Skopje.
You will then reach the Matka Canyon, a must-see place in Macedonia. Embark on a boat through the canyon to explore the Vrelo Caves, which are considered among the deepest underwater caves in the world.
Return to Skopje at the end of the day.
Dinner and overnight in Skopje.

Day 3. Skopje – Mavroro – Ohrid, North Macedonia
After breakfast, leave for Mavrovo National Park. On the way to Ohrid you will stop at Tetovo to discover its painted Mosque of Sarena Dzamija dating from the 15th century. Painted inside and out, it represents one of the most beautiful mosques in Macedonia.
Arrive in Mavrovo National Park and enjoy sumptuous landscapes across, Lake Mavroro and the canyon of Radika. You will stop at the Monastery of Saint Jovan Bigorski, located on the heights of the canyon, which represents one of the most beautiful monasteries in Macedonia
Two possibilities for lunch (depending on the size of the group) Option 1: You will make a stop in the small village of Janche, in which a resident of the village invested in the construction of houses using the materials of the time, you will have lunch in his restaurant. Option 2: Lunch at the Saint Jovan Bigorski restaurant.
After lunch, you will head to the Duf waterfall for a short hike of about 20 minutes.
Then take the road towards Ohrid, the Cradle of Orthodoxy. City listed as World Heritage by UNESCO and sublime city by the lake which, for many, represents the culmination of the Macedonian experience, a Kingdom of light and water and a reference to the ancient ruins of the traditional kingdom of Macedonia. Discover its historic heritage, well preserved like the Church of St Jovan or the ancient theater dating from the Roman Empire. Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.

Day 4. Ohrid, North Macedonia
After breakfast, set off to explore the wonders of Lake Ohrid.
Visit the “Bay of Bones” museum, an authentic reconstruction of part of a colony, dating from 1200 to 700 BC.
Visit the Saint Naum Monastery. In the middle of the lush greenery, the monastery of St. Naum. Built in the 10th century, it is a refuge of tranquility on the border between Albania and Macedonia. Lunch at Saint Naum.
Return to Ohrid and free afternoon to enjoy Ohrid’s beaches or stroll through the old town. Dinner in a restaurant by Lake Ohrid with the possibility of being accompanied by
Macedonian folk musicians. Overnight in Ohrid.

Jump 1400 meters or 1600 meters above sea level. Go towards the place planned for the jump where you will equip yourself with your instructor for an unforgettable experience.
OPTIONAL: DIVING (€ 55.00 / pax)
Meet your diving instructor and explore Europe’s oldest and deepest lake, which contains around 200 different species. Discover the underwater flora and fauna of Lake Ohrid, also famous internationally for the discovery of remains dating back to the Bronze Age.

Day 5. Ohrid – Kayak Day, North Macedonia
After breakfast, join your instructor on the shores of Lake Ohrid and start a day of kayaking in the most sumptuous natural areas of the lake.
You will also visit the Church of St Marie in Zaum only accessible by boat. Lunch in a small private beach. Return to Ohrid in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight in Ohrid.
OPTIONAL: Evening Quad excursion to admire a sunset in Galicia. Return to Ohrid, barbecue and aperitif in a beach bar. 55 € per person (2 people on a quad).

Day 6. Ohrid – Stenje – Bitola, North Macedonia
After breakfast, head towards Stenje and board a boat on Lake Prespa, the second lake in the south of Macedonia, which shares the borders between Macedonia, Albania and Greece.
You will discover Golem Grad, “the island of the Pelicans” which has a large fauna of turtles, great cormorants, snakes and pelicans. The ruins, the birds and the beauty of another world make it an essential place to explore.
You will return to Stenje after the excursion and have lunch with local people to enjoy a traditional Macedonian meal including carp from Lake Prespa.
After lunch, leave for Bitola, the second largest city in northern Macedonia. Guided tour of the city of consuls. You will discover a Mediterranean-looking city with its churches, mosques, old Ottoman bazaar and beautiful neoclassical houses.
Then visit Heraclea Lyncestis, located 2 km from Bitola and discover the remains of this ancient city of the Kingdom of Macedonia whose foundations date back to the 4th century BC.
Dinner and overnight in Bitola.

Day 7. Bitola – Popova Kula – Skopje, North Macedonia
After breakfast, you will then leave to visit the French Military Cemetery of Bitola where more than 13,000 French soldiers who died during the First World War are buried there.
Continue your road to reach the Popova Kula vineyard. You will discover the wine culture of a small Macedonian vineyard located on the heights of a hill and offering a magnificent panoramic view of the region. Drop off your luggage in the hotel.
Visit the vineyard and discover the production of traditional Macedonian wines. Lunch in the vineyard and taste several local wines during the meal.
Join Skopje at the end of the day and drop off your luggage at your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Skopje.

Day 8. Skopje, North Macedonia
After breakfast, free time until your transfer to Skopje airport for your return flight.
