Full Day Nordeste – São Miguel Island, Azores

Departure from Ponta Delgada to Vila Franca do Campo Village, the first capital of the island. The next stop will be in Povoação Village, situated in the most south eastern part of the island, is where the first Portuguese navigators arrived, stop to the lunch, lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues through the eastern part of the Island with stops at Ponta da Madrugada, Ponta do Sossego and Ponta do Arnel viewpoints. The tour continues towards the village of the Northeast, a village with a beautiful architectural heritage, such as the Matriz de São Jorge and the churches of Nossa Senhora da Luz or the chapels of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, dating from 1529. The village of the Northeast is known by the its beautiful gardens and well-preserved streets where flowers seem to bloom in every corner. The tour follows to the natural park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões, with waterfalls and water mills. Return to Ponta Delgada through the north coast.
