Travel to Normandy to see some of the important sites that played a historical part of the invasion of Normandy. This will lead you to the Cape Pointe de Hoc, Omaha and Juno Beach and American and Canadian cemeteries. We will give you a personalized and informative tour of these sites and tell you about their fascinating history. You will also enjoy a lunch stop in the historic center of the coastal town of Arromaches.

This is a long day trip, so be prepared for a long drive and from Paris. Our tours are completely private and personal, you will have the flexibility to change the tour stops. Just talk to your guide to see what the possible route might be.

- What Will You Do

PICK UP
We can pick up from the hotel in one of our comfortable vehicles around 7 in the morning. On our way to Normandy, our guide license will give you an introduction to the story. We'll make a brief stop on the way to have coffee.

POINTE DU HOC
First stop will be the cliff to La Pointe du Hoc, which overlooks Omaha Beach. You will see the Second World War Pointe du Hoc Monument Ranger and learn about the role of this site played as a defense point during the war.

OMAHA BEACH
We'll continue to Omaha beach, where you will walk along the coast and see several bunkers, monuments and memorials along the way. Your guide will give you more details about the history and stories of the beach.

AMERICAN CEMETERY
Soon we will arrive at the American cemetery of Colleville-sur-Mer. We will take you on a short walking tour and you will have a chance to take a look at the visitor center, which is a bit interesting in the museum. If you have a relative in the graveyard, we can help you find them, so you can pay your respects.

STOP FOR LUNCH
Then we head to the coastal village of Arromaches, where we can enjoy a break for lunch. Your guide will be able to recommend a restaurant suitable for you. If you're a seafood lover, why not try the specialty of the stuff, which is mussels.

MIRANTE ARROMACHES
We will make a brief stop at the viewpoint in Arromaches after lunch which offers a great view of the coast and the opportunity to take some photos.

JUNO BEACH
The tour continues along the coast towards Juno beach and the Canadian destination sectors. You will see some of the last famous bunkers and some of the old war vehicles.

RETURN TO HOTEL
Let's start the trip back to Paris, passing through the historic village of Caen. We aim to return to your hotel around 7 o'clock. If you prefer to be dropped off at a restaurant or bar to continue your evening in Paris, then please let us know.
