Faro: Bike Tour In Ria Formosa To Faro Beach

This tour was created as a family friendly tour for all ages (easy level) on a flat off road course by the sea around the ria formosa in the Faro area. Beginning at our shop in Faro where we will make our way trough a dirt path where we can see the Ria Formosa River to the ocean line finding the asphalt road (3 km).

There is no way around this road and despite not being ideal to what we want to provide, your costumers can enjoy the view of some of the most beautiful birds another type of animals. We adapt the tour to your pace with as many stops as you want to take photos, drink water or just to relax. When we finally arrive at praia da Faro is when our tour really shines, making our way along the cost above the hills, is a sight that stays with you for a long time.

There in the beach your guide will suggest a good restaurant that will fit your taste so you can have lunch (at your own expense).

The tour ends with a more rural point of view where we will take your guests to see some local farms, animals at the Ria Formosa. Definitely a birdwatchers’ paradise, the Ria Formosa Natural Park is recognized as an important wetland with outstanding ecosystems for bird life, which use the extensive areas of the marshes and the saltpans to breed. It’s a wintering ground for birds from northern and central Europe and a safe haven for migrating birds on their way to Africa.
