We start our walk at the Art Nouveau “del Norte” train station. Built in 1917, it is a perfect example of this art in Valencia at he beginning of the century. From here, we go to the Town Hall Square to take pictures on the Council building and the Post Office (opened in 1922).

Only 4 minutes walk and we arrive to the Central Market. Needless to say it is one of the biggest fruits and vegetables markets in Europe. Vegetables garden in Valencia was important at the beginig of the 20th century and here we have a good example.

In front of the Market, there is a building which belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List: The Silk Market, built in the 15th century and one of the ambassadors of Valencian Silk culture. Civil Gothic artstyle where we see how important and powerful was this industry and it is still.

It is located in the very city center and it is easy to see thanks to the narrow and charming streets which take us to “the 4 Squares”: Lope de Vega square, Round square, Queen square and Virgin square.

After visiting the Gothic Serranos Towers, we go to the main Baroque building of the city: the Marchis of Dos Aguas Palace. And later on, time for shopping at the Poeta Querol street, Don Juan de Austria Promenade and Colon street.

We finish at the most relevant “café” in the city: the Colon Market, the perfect place to have a drink and share the pictures at the social networks with our friends.
