Have you ever been to Lisbon Region?

On the right bank of the broad Tagus river estuary, the capital of Portugal graciously reclines over rolling hills. This is a spectacular geographical location and does much to explain the cosmopolitan history of the city. Its exceptional natural light, which has long inspired writers, photographs and filmmakers, the brightly coloured buildings straddling the slopes, the striking ochre of the roofs, the tiling on so many facades and the narrow twisting alleys of the medieval districts bestow Lisbon with the peculiar atmosphere of a city perched somewhere between the European north and the Mediterranean south.

"We had an amazing tour. From Fatima to the amazingly beautiful town Batalha. Beautiful lunch and best guide ever, thank you Mauro for teaching us so much about the history of your amazing country. We couldnt get enough of it. Nazare was a surprise, so much more than just the big wave. Loved it. And Obidos, the perfect cherry on top. Tour is perfectly set together, and by far the best guide. Fun, easy going, and so much knowledge. Obrigada"

"My family & I had a wonderful day in Fatima thanks to Hugo. Besides being a good/careful driver, he was able to tell us a lot about the history, social & economic, of Portugal. At Fatima he briefed us on how to navigate this beautiful, peaceful religious site and again gave us a better understanding of its significance. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and was always polite and understanding. I would recommend Heart & Soul Tours to anyone visiting Lisbon and would like to organise excursions."
★★★★★
"From the moment our private guide Vasco picked us up at our hotel, we were treated like royalty. Vasco's knowledge of Lisbon is extensive. From the hilltop overlooking Lisbon to the back streets of Alfama, where we were treated to coffee in a local shop, to St. Jeronimous Monastery and warm pastries in Belem to churches and plazas of Lisbon, Vasco imparted the history and culture of the area. Vasco is gracious and accommodating. He looked for opportunities to take photos of us so we would remember our stay in Lisbon. This private tour is well worth the time and price."
★★★★★
"We were fortunate to have Vasco as our guide. He picked us up near our accommodation in a comfortable van and took us through the city. He was very personable and engaged every member of our family in conversation. His knowledge of the city and its history is extensive and very interesting. He knew all the best spots to take us to, and helped take photos of us. I cannot recommend him highly enough - it was perfect start to our time in Lisbon."

"It was good that you came to pick me up in front of the hostel and explain the history story and meaning in detail. At the end we had to drop in front of the hostel and we had to take a flight and we were able to take a comfortable and safe trip to the airport on our way. I was impressed by the fact that I was not able to fully understand it but it was hard to explain. However, I had to move several places in one day, so I was a little disappointed to see 45 minutes in one place. I wanted to see the corridor, but I could not go. But I was satisfied."
