Los dos islotes, nombrados como Grande (grande) y Pequeno (pequeño), que constituyen el islote Cabras se encuentran frente a la costa sur de la maravillosa isla Terceira, archipiélago de las Azores, a aproximadamente 1 km de la pequeña aldea de Feteira.

Estos islotes están clasificados como la Zona de Protección Especial de Cabras, debido a su importancia natural, que ocupan una superficie total de 29 hectáreas, teniendo el islote pequeño 84 metros y el islote grande 147 metros de altura.

Estos son los islotes más grandes del archipiélago, restos volcánicos que la lava basáltica entró en contacto con el agua formando conos volcánicos litorales, hoy en día bastante alterados por la erosión del mar.

Hábitat para varias especies, principalmente avifauna, en el Islote Cabras anidan muchas especies protegidas, tales como el Charrán Común, el Calonectris, el Charrán rosado, la Garza coronada o la Gaviota, entre muchos otros.
El acceso al islote es difícil, aunque a veces algunas de las áreas se utilizan como pastos para el ganado.
Durante los meses de verano, hay algunos viajes en bote disponibles para aquellos que deseen visitar esta Zona de Protección Especial, siempre con un número de visitantes condicionado debido a problemas ambientales.
