Comenzamos nuestro viaje en velero por el histórico puerto de Portimão. Pasando el pueblo de pescadores de Ferragudo con dos fortalezas medievales, llegamos al Atlántico.

En el faro nos dirigimos rumbo Sureste, cruzando a lo largo de los acantilados al carvoeiro y las formaciones rocosas de Algar Seco. Le mostramos la cueva del contrabandista, la cueva profunda de Alfanzina y el cabo de Carvoeiro

En Benagil nos anclamos para nadar y con mar tranquilo se visitan las cuevas – las más espectaculares cuevas algarvias de la región entre Portimão y Armação de Pêra. Recorreremos el motor a lo largo de las rocas y cuevas.

We saw this trip advertised and were intrigued so we booked the morning trip to the caves. I wish I had booked the whole day. The staff were great and the story of the ship was amazing. Very authentic and such fun. To top it all of the trip into the caves were stunning. The boat certainly got the attention it deserved from all other boats and I loved to watch her sail past when I was along the cliff if Carvoeiro or in town at lunch time. Well worth a sail

Es war eine schöne Tour. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Bei den fahrten mit den kleinen Booten in die Höhlen, waren oft zu viele andere Schiffe von anderen Touren dabei. So dass um das Einfahren in die Höhlen gekämpft wurde. Trotzdem eine schöne und empfehlenswerte Tour.
