Day 1: Ngamba Chimpanzee Island
Arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by Kent Safari representative who will transfer you to your hotel for Itinerary briefing. If time permits, you will be transferred to the pier for the boat trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, home to over 40 orphaned Chimpanzee, a worthy cause supporting the endangered Chimpanzees throughout Uganda. This trip will enable you learn about the plight of wild chimpanzees in the visitor’s center on the island as well as watching the orphaned chimps as they come in from the forest for their food. In the evening you will receive a pre-trip briefing at the hotel. You can also visit the wildlife education center in Entebbe, Kasubi tombs – the burial site for all Kings of Buganda, the Namugongo shrine where Uganda Martyrs were massacred, plus other cultural entertaining centers like National Theater, Ndere Culture Centre, Uganda Museum, Restaurants, Clubs and Bars.

Day 2: Entebbe / Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Full day drive to Bwindi as you enjoy the beautiful sceneries of Uganda, stopping over at the Equator and Igongo Cultural Center for experience on the ways of life of the Local communities.
Overnight: Gorilla Safari Lodge or Standard

Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast you will be escorted to the park headquarters to meet your guide. You will trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes led by experienced trackers who will bring you close to the families of Mountain Gorillas. These massively gentle primates are extremely rare, with less than 690 remaining in the world. The trekking may be fairly strenuous, at relatively high-altitude. These animals are highly elusive and it is not a guarantee that they will be seen. However, with the assistance of our experienced guides, chances are high that you will see them. After this seemingly hectic day’s Gorilla trekking expedition, you may choose to embark on forest walks with the guide or just relax in the evening.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, after breakfast, you will be able to go on a forest walk in Bwindi looking for birds and other primates with a local knowledgeable guide or go on a community village walk, to experience the Culture of Batwa and Pygmies in social life.

Day 5: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
Travel into the Uganda highlands with great views and Vistas of this lush green area to Lake Mburo National Park. Here you may go on a walk with a local guide or on game drive in search of Zebras, leopards, Antelopes and Hippos that are abundant in the area. Take a boat Cruise on Lake Mburo in the evening to see a variety of bird species and other animals, as they graze and drink water on the lake shores.

Day 6: Lake Mburo – Entebbe
Morning Breakfast, as we embark on a drive towards Kampala to catch your Flight. Stopover at the Equator and African Craft market on Masaka road for a photo moment and to purchase souvenirs. We arrive late afternoon. You may choose to stay in Kampala or be transferred to the Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.

Entebbe international airport is your gateway to and from Uganda. To avoid inconveniences that are occasioned by rushing at the time of departure, we advise that you book international flights departing from Entebbe after 8pm.We will need you to furnish us with the following information:

VISA AND CONSULAR Advice:
Each individual traveler is responsible for obtaining the required visa, as visa requirements vary per country. For visa information, we advise our clients to consult the US State Department and local Embassies for non-US citizens.
NOTE:
1. A visa can be obtained at Entebbe international airport on arrival at a fee $50 per person.
2. Visas for all other East African Countries can be obtained, on arrival, at the international airport or at boarder points.
YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION:
Please remember to get your yellow fever vaccination as it is a crucial requirement especially if you are travelling to Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda. Please be sure to visit the Centers for Disease Control at http://www.cdc.gov/travel. Or check with a physician for more information.

AGE LIMIT:
Some of our tours have strict age limit. Children 13 years and below are not allowed to visit the gorillas or participate in certain activities like canoeing and, for adults above 65 years of age, a medical report may be required.
