How is the the climate?
Arrábida is an accentuated Mediterranean climate divided into two seasons: - a hot and dry summer, where temperatures hover around the temperatures of tropical regions, with periods of prolonged dry spells; - humid cold winters. The proximity to the Atlantic ocean is a factor in conditioning the humidity and temperatures throughout the year. The Atlantic air masses, therefore, influence the typically Mediterranean system, diminishing the thermic amplitude and increasing atmospheric humidity from autumn to spring. The relief and exposition also influences the climatic conditions in the area, based on slopes that are primarily greater than 30%. Data from the meteorological post in Setúbal also indicates a dual period of luminosity: the first from January to August, and the second from September to December, influence the growth of vegetation.

One of the best ideas we ever had

A kind and professional team lead by passion and the desire of give us an unforgettable experience. It was for us. Perfect the pick-up (round-trip) service we used to get from Lisboa to Sesimbra. We have been so lucky 'cause we have seen not only a lot of dolphins - also really close to our boat - but also a whale <3 (that was such an incredible feeling ) in a perfect mood of cloudy sky and placid ocean. We also sailed along the coast to see some incredible and hyde places hollowed in the rock. They also offered us a delicious little cake - made by fisherman's wifes - during the trip. Super suggested!
