Dolphin Watching Catamaran Tour In Setúbal Bay

Dolphin watching at Setúbal bay is one of the attractions that you can get when visiting this region. Setúbal as a resident family of dolphins living at the estuary all the year from several years ago.

At the time there are 28 members of this family and we expect an increase in the next year’s to come. “Dolphin Bay” is one of the agencies that are certified with marine biologists on board and with license for dolphin watching.

The boat trip will last approximately 3 hours. You will be received on board with a welcome drink. Then, the crew will present the briefing and safety rules. The trip is accompanied by experienced marine biologists who will help in identifying each of the dolphins and in interpreting their behaviors and the surrounding environment.

The observation will have the maximum duration of 30 minutes, time stipulated by the code of conduct of the Natural Park. Then, the boat will pass by the points of interest and historical monuments of the city of Setúbal and the Arrábida coast, with historical introduction and some curiosities about each point.

There’s a possibility of stopping for bathing in the most appropriate place depending on the weather conditions. During this stop snorkeling material will be available for the development of the activity.

Throughout the activity, participants will be provided with explanatory material on the population of dolphins, points of interest and monuments, Sado estuary and adjacent geographic area.
