SAFARI dolphins & Seahorses ; SNORKELING , starts at 8.00 am, from the olhão marina, in a speed boat with 2 skippers, directly to open Atlantic Ocean, searching for dolphins in wild life, when we see them we stop for watching and photos the more time possible, after that we return to the Ria Formosa waters and have stop for snorkeling time to search seahorses and swimming in a desert island.

Beautiful but too short

The trip itself was nice, we searched for dolphins for about 2 hours and then we were dropped off at a beautiful island for 1/2 hour. Then another boat took us back to the marina which took about 1/2 hour as well. So we were away for about 3 hours. If I would have wanted a 3-hour tour I would have booked one. In my opinion it is quite rude to cut 1/4 of the whole tour. Also: the communication with the stuff there wasn’t easy. We weren’t actually taken to a place to see seahorses, because we expected to stop somewhere in the ocean (or at least be told were there might be some sea horses), but the only snorkelling we were able to do was at this island. And believe me, this is definitely not the place to find them.
