Flamenco shows in Madrid: Café Ziryab
Our shows include Cuadro Flamenco from Wednesday to Monday at 9.30 pm, with different artists every week or two, showing a great variety of styles in dancing, guitar and singing. On weekends, after the Cuadro Flamenco, at 11.00pm generally (see schedule), we offer an interesting program focusing more on singing and guitar, presenting renowned artists as well as young upcoming promises.
A cuadro Flamenco is a tipical performance in a flamenco venue called ‘tablao’, and consists of two or more dancers, a singer an a guitarist interpreting different styles of flamenco dance, singing and playing. Usually there is an important part of improvisation taking place, being possible when artists are professionals who know most of the complex styles and know the rhythmic patterns, which makes it possible for them to interact spontaneously and transmit the living art of flamenco to the audience.
Nicely decorated, Café Ziryab will receive you in an intimate and familiar atmosphere, where you can enjoy one of our good wines or a cool beer or drink and a delicious tapa
Daily Flamenco shows at 9.30pm every day except Tuesday: 22€ with a drink included.
Late shows (singers, guitarists), Fridays and Saturdays generally at 11.00pm: different entrance fees (check our schedule).
