From Kathmandu: 17-Day Trekking Trip By The Manaslu Circuit

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport, Transfer to Hotel and trip information.
Airport representative will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu, Holding the name plate of Outshine Aventure on arrival, then we transfer to Hotel, after your check inn at Hotel, we take you at our company for documentation and information.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu ( Kathmandu Durbar squire, Syambhunath, Buddhanath and Pashupatinath.)
Wake up early morning, have breakfast at hotel than around 9 am we start the tour for Kathmandu Durbar squire, Syambhunath, Buddhanath and Pashupatinath. We provide expert tour guide to explain the monuments and private car for the sightseeing. At afternoon you will have some time at afternoon for equipment shopping or preparation.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Arughat (670m/2,198 ft) – Soti Khola (710m/2,330ft) 8-9 hrs drive
After having breakfast, we will begin our drive towards Soti Khola via Arughat. The drive will be long and go through the outskirts of Kathmandu. We will get to see beautiful views of landscapes throughout for drive.The drive will go through small settlements area. Upon reaching Soti Khola, we will have lunch and later explore the area. Overnight in the guesthouse.

Day 04: Soti Khola – Machha Khola (890m/2,920ft) 6-7 hrs
We will cross a bridge and further trek through lovely Sal forests to reach a ridge. From here, we will trek on the rugged trail and cross couple of waterfalls. Further, we will descend through rice terraces and again ascend towards Labubesi. The trail will include more ups and downs until we reach Machha Khola village. Before reaching the village, we will also cross a suspension bridge.

Day 05: Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m/4395ft) 5-6 hrs
Today, we will begin trekkin on a narrow trail and cross Tharo Khola before reaching Khorla Besi. We will then reach Tatopani where we will see a small hot spring. From here, we will ascend and reach a ridge. Further will cross the Budhi Gandaki River on a suspension bridge and ascend all the way up to the Jagat. On the way, we will cross several other bridges.

Day 06: Jagat to Deng (2095m/6871ft) 7-8 hrs
After getting our permits checked, we will ascend on a rocky ridge to Salleri and then descend to Sirdibas. Further, we will cross a long hanging bridge and ascend towards Philim. Then the trail passes through impressive waterfalls on either side of the valley today. We will pass Ekle Bhatti from where we will head towards the river and cross it twice over suspension bridges. From Ekle Bhatti we trek along to pass Pewa, traverse along a small campsite and continue through the valley until we reach the village of Deng.

Day 07: Deng – Namrung (2,660m/8,725ft) 6-7 hrs
Crossing the Budhi Gandaki River, we will ascend to Rana. From here, we will climb up to the west of the Budhi Gandaki valley. Further going through several lush green forests, lovely small villages, narrow gorge, and crossing streams, we will reach Namrung Village.

Day 08: Namrung – Lho (3,180m/10,430ft) 3-4hrs
We will trek on a winding trail through the inner Himalayan range. On the way, we will see amazing views of Mt. Manaslu, Gorkha Himal, Saula Himal, Dwijen Himal, Lajing peak, and Rupina La Pass. We will ascend and come across chortens, prayer flags & mani walls, and reach Lho Gaon.

Day 09: Lho – Sama Gaon (3,530m/11,578ft) 5-6 hrs
We will begin trekking after having breakfast. Following the right bank of a river, we will trek and reach Sama Gaon. On the way, we will see numerous peaks.

Day 10: Sama: Rest and exploration day: Birendra Tal / Pungyen Gompa / Manaslu Base Camp
It is recommended to rest in Samagaon for more than one night for acclimatization enjoying the village and a short trip to Manaslu Base Camp or Punggen Gompa. Surrounded by mountains in a peaceful forest you can hike to Manaslu Base Camp for excellent views of Samdo (Pang phuchuli); Nagdi chuli, Simnang Himal, Manaslu glacier, Manaslu ice fall.

Day 11: Sama – Samdo (3,860m/12,660ft) 3-4 hrs
Today will be going to be a short and easy trekking day to Samdo. We will cross several Mani walls and juniper bushes, and ascend towards a ridge. Further, we will descend and cross Buri Gandaki on an old wooden bridge and reach Samdo Village where we will stay for a night.

Day 12: Samdo – Larkya Phedi/Dharamsala (4,460m/14,628ft) 3-4 hrs
It’s another short and easy trekking day. Leaving behind Samdo, we will descend towards and bridge. Further, crossing Budhi Gandaki River, we will slowly ascend towards the Dharamsala.

Day 13: Dharamsala – Larkya La (5,160m/16,930ft) – Bimthang (3,720m/12,201ft) 8-9 hrs
We will wake up early in the morning, and begin ascending on a ridge. The ascend will not be difficult but, it will go up to the Larkya La Pass-through rugged path. We will get to see breathtaking views of mountain scenery from here, and continue our trek towards our next destination, Bimthang. We will ascend for a few minutes, and then descend on a loose rocky trail to reach Bimthang.

Day 14: Bimthang – Gho (2,515m/8,250ft) 5-6 hrs
We will descend all the way down to the Gho village. The trail will descend for around 6 hours and lead us to Gho where we will be staying for a night.

Day 15: Gho – Dharapani (1,920m/6,300ft) 3-4 hrs
We will descend all the way down to the Dharapani. The trail will descend for around 4 hours and lead us to Dharapani where we will be staying for a night.

Day 16: Dharapani- Besi Sahar (760m/2,495ft) – Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) 9-10 hrs drive
After having breakfast, we will begin our journey towards Kathmandu. We will descend and reach Besishahar. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will move to our hotel and rest for the day. We will end our day with a delicious farewell dinner.

Day 17: Transfer to International Airport for your final departure.
After your Breakfast at Hotel we transfer to International Airport according to your flight time. We could increase the tours or extra activities if you have extra days available according to your desire.
