Chitwan Jungle Safari is the most popular destination for tourist wanting to have a good experience of the regions wildlife. It was declared a National park in 1973. In 1984, UNESCO designated it as Natural World Heritage Site. The Chitwan National park offers protection to 56 species of mammals including the one horned rhinoceros, Bengal Tiger, leopard, sloth bear, wild elephant, striped hyena, Genetic dolphin and wild bison.
Itinerary details
Day 1 : Drive to Chitwan from Kathmandu by tourist bus
Arrive in Chitawan from Kathmandu by tourist bus. A private jeep will pick you up from the Bus Park to the hotel. After you check in you will have lunch and the jungle guide will take you to the jungle walk elephant safari and nature walk with a boat ride and back to the hotel.
Day 2 : Full day jungle Safari Tour in Chitwan
After breakfast, we will take you to the jungle walk through grassland and forests upstream of the Narayani River. We head back to the hotel on a boat to observe crocodiles along the banks. We take lunch about and take a siesta. After a siesta, we will go for an Elephant safari for observation.
Day 3 :Drive to Kathmandu from Chitwan
Wake Up Call followed by tea/coffee, Bird Watching, Breakfast and final Departure to Kathmandu.
