From Lisbon: Full Day Private Tour To Queluz, Sintra, Cascais & Cabo Da Roca

Your full day tour will start in Lisbon, where we will pick you up in your accommodation.

The first stop in the stunning Queluz Palace. It is a palace from the eighteenth century and was built as a summer nook for D. Pedro de Bragança, who later became the husband and king consort of his niece, Queen D. Maria I from Portugal. We will visit the monument and have a time to take pictures.

We continue with the tour through the historical center of Sintra where you can see the wonderful old streets and take photos to the National Palace of Sintra. Then we will discover Palácio da Pena, the most extravagant Portuguese Palace built on a cliff at 500m of Altitude dominating the whole coast until Lisbon. The Arab architecture, and Manueline well present in this palace, gives life to the purest romantic Portuguese style.

At lunchtime, your guide will suggest a nice restaurant for you.

We restart the tour at Cabo da Roca, where the land ends and the sea begins. Dominating the tumultuous waters to 140m of height where they strike with much noise against the rocks. It offers superb views of the Atlantic Ocean in its wildest state.

Then we’ll pass through the Boca do inferno (hell’s mouth). This opening in the rock is a giant throat dug by the sea with the crashing of its waves. A spectacle worthy of appreciation at the sound of the waves remembering the voice of the devil growling and spitting spouts of water.

Finally the excursion passes through Cascais, (Monte de Conchas) fishing village since the 12th century and has been preserved until the days of Today. A privileged place for the exile of the European Nobility during the two World Wars, still retaining its glamour and architectural wealth of other times.

Return to Lisbon by following the whole coast, passing by Estoril, Carcavelos admiring the immense beaches that the coast offers us and welcoming us to Lisbon but which announces the end of a unique day spent in our company.
