While the Yarra Valley is a world-renowned wine growing region, wine is only half the story of this gourmet wonderland! While we provide a Melbourne wine tour to rival any other, we also provide a fine blend of the very best of the region’s other gourmet produce.

Our gourmet food and wine tour of the Yarra Valley starts the day with an exclusive farm gate visit at Yarra Farm Fresh, for a palate-cleansing fruit experience. Yarra Farm Fresh specialises in bringing the best of the Yarra Valley into their farm gate store. We will learn about what’s in season, and sample a range of locally grown fruits and hand made products. Discover the very best of the region’s produce and gourmet products all under the one roof!

Next our Yarra Valley tour travels to one of the area’s true icons, De Bortoli Wines where we’ll enjoy a tasting from their extensive range of quality wines. The amazing produce at the Yarra Valley Dairy will truly melt in your mouth. The cheeses here are truly stunning and will have your tastebuds working overtime!

Our lunch is at the fabulous Rochford Wines where our guests can choose from four different main meals, with a glass of wine & tea/coffee. Take some time to explore the gift shop, or perhaps climb the spiral staircase to enjoy the panoramic views from Rochford’s famous lookout tower.

After lunch we make our way to one of Australia’s great wineries and member of the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame, Yering Station. Home of Victoria’s oldest vineyards, first planted in 1838, the wines here are of exceptional quality and a tasting here is not to be missed.

Before returning to Melbourne, we’ll visit the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie where you’re welcomed with an exclusive chocolate tasting, displays of thousands of premium chocolates and European chocolatiers at work handcrafting their chocolate creations.

You will commence the journey home knowing that they have truly enjoyed the very best food and wine that the Yarra Valley has to offer with the best tours agency melbourne has to offer.

Please note that we reserve the right to use other high quality wineries & gourmet locations in the event that our regular locations are for any reason unable to accommodate our groups for tastings.

- FAQ

What is the child policy?
We’re happy to welcome children on board our tours. Children’s prices are $20 less than our full adult fares and apply for all travellers aged 0-15 years. Child seats are available on request but must be booked in advance. If you would like a child seat made available for your child, please contact our office directly to confirm that we are able to provide a seat for your child.
How far should I book in advance?
To be reasonably sure of securing a seat, it is advisable to book at least 2-3 days before the tour. However, if you are later than this, it is still worth giving us a try, as provided we have availability we are able to take bookings right up until tour departure time.
Can I bring luggage on board the bus?
Our touring vehicles have minimal storage space, so any more than a small day pack is undesirable. Large bags, prams & strollers cannot be stored on board. If you need to bring along any more than this, please be sure to let us know at the time of booking, as it may be necessary to purchase an extra seat to accommodate your luggage.
Is much physical activity involved?
A moderate level of physical mobility is required for some locations on our tours. A number of the destinations are not accessible to those with limited mobility. Our tours do not generally involve long walks or trekking, but some locations have stairs or steep paths. For more information, please contact us.
How long are the current prices valid for?
Our currently listed prices and inclusions are valid until 31st March 2019.
Where can I be dropped off after the tour?
Our guides are pleased to drop our guests off at reasonable destinations in the St Kilda and inner city areas. Normal drop off points include hotels, hostels and transport hubs. If you live or are staying some way from the city centre, your guide will drop you off at a railway station or tram line on the route to your destination. Our tours return to the city well before public transport stops operating

Winery, cheese and chocolate tour

★★★★★ Reviewed by Jamie on 2018-07-12
The company does a great job at providing a wonderful experience for people who want to enjoy the attractions of the Yarra Valley. Our tour guide Mel was fantastic in getting us in the mood for having a wonderful day. It was pretty obvious that she enjoys her job as a tour guide . Nothing was too much trouble . Originally I was just interested in finding a winery tour. But this is much better because it includes cheese and chocolate.
