Come and get to know the Douro Valley with expert local guides, Albano, Paulo and Luís, the sixth generation of a family producing liqueur wine from the Douro Valley. They are trained in tourism and oenology and we are delighted to share all the magic of this enchanted Valley. Join them and discover the teachings of their ancestors, such as traditions, idyllic places, traditional gastronomy, heritage.

To start, depart from São Bento Railway Station in the city of Porto and travel by train on the Douro Railway Line, the most beautiful road ride in the world (Unesco Classification).

There, have brunch with traditional products (cheese, sausages, smoked, jam, bread and wine) on the banks of the river Douro. In the valley you will travel by mini van.

The first visit will be to the viewpoint of Casal de Loivos (Considered by CNN as one of the five most beautiful in the world), where you’ll have the most stunning view of the valley.

At lunchtime, enjoy a traditional lunch in a farm with more than 150 years of history. Also, visit the Enoteca da Quinta da Avessada (considered one of the best in Europe).

Then, you will have a tour on the Museum of Bread and Wine. Later, visit the Favaios Winery and then, have a guided tour with tastings at the centuries-old bakeries of Favaios.
