Private Jeep Tour To Sintra Village, Beaches And Colares – Includes Wine Tasting

For the beginning of your private tour we will pick you up at your accommodation at 9am where you will meet your friendly guide and your fantastic 4×4 Jeep that will be yours for the day!

Sintra is not just the magical and mountainous villa that people know, but it’s also a whole council with 319,2 km² that includes an amazing coast line with more than a dozen natural beaches and a vast area of rural villages with lots of traditions! We aim to show you not just Sintra’s center and the well-known mountain with the princess-like castle on the top, but also the less visited places in this region that are true gems ready to be discovered and there is no better way to do so than on board a 4×4 classic Portuguese jeep!

After that it’s time to explore Sintra’s mountain where you will get chance to see and know all of the sights and monuments history (choose only one monument to visit in the inside!). From Pena Palace, the famous fairy-tail like Palace, to Quinta da Regaleira, with it’s enigmatic grottoes and mysteries, passing through the Moorish Castle, Monserrate Palace and many more.

From Sintra’s mountain we head to the rural area. The beautiful countryside following the antique tram line until we reach Colares, where life is simple and agriculture predominates as well as wine making! Colares has the oldest wine seller in the country and we will take you there for a brief visit getting to know Portuguese’s wine traditions a little better.

From the wine cellar, we head the spinning road trail to some of the stunning Portuguese beaches: ‘Praia Grande’, ‘Praia Pequena’, and we stop at ‘Azenhas do Mar’. This small town has a heavenly location and is among the most appreciated and exciting beaches in Europe.

In ‘Adraga Beach’, another of Sintra’s gems, we will stop so you can get the ocean breeze and relax a little while overlooking the wild scenery. From there we go through the beaten paths and off road trail taking you to a hidden, secret location, that you would only reach with the help of a 4×4 vehicle and that not even all local people know!

We head back to the place we originally met. This time, through off road tracks so you have a little more adventure before we finish this tour!
