Start by being picked up at your accommodation or designated meeting point in Ponta Delgada. Then your guide will take you to the starting point of the trail. This route is linear and easy-to-reach.

Starts near Mata do Canário wood in the western part of the island, reaches Pico da Cruz viewpoint, a hill point that offers a beautiful view over the Sete Cidades lakes, and continues to the path that skirts the Blue Lake until getting to Sete Cidades parish. At lunchtime you will be served a picnic.
