Your full-day tour to Furnas and the Lagoa do Fogo starts with a pickup from your accommodation. Then, the guide will drive you to a place with a breathtaking passage through the Caldeira Velha, known for its hot spring, its lagoon inside a crater, and the Barrosa mountain, which is one of the highest mountains in S. Miguel.

We’ll enter the thermal pools of Furnas, visiting the Terra Nostra park and the old Caldeira where, at lunchtime, you’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch.

During the day, we’ll also visit a Liquor factory, where you can taste the typical liquors from the island, as the passion fruit liquor. We’ll pass through the parishes.
