Uxmal: It is an ancient Mayan city of the classical period in present-day Mexico. It is considered one of the most important archaeological sites of the Mayan culture. Kabah: It is a Mayan archaeological site in the Puuc region in western Yucatan, south of Merida. Kabah is located south of Uxmal, connected to that site by a large 18-kilometer (11-mile), 5-meter (16-foot) wide elevated pedestrian walkway with monumental arches at each end. Kabah is the second largest ruin in the Puuc region after Uxmal.

The ruins extend on both sides of the road in a very large area of ​​jungle, are located in the lower part of a valley, surrounded by hills of medium height where you can see small temples at the top, where from the horizon You can see the main buildings of Nohpat and Uxmal.
