Pedralva

The village of Pedralva, a rural village in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, which was once inhabited by more than 100 people, has begun a painful process of desertification in the last 25 years.

In 2006, when we found this village, it had only 9 original inhabitants, and a set of about 50 houses in an advanced state of ruin. Only nine of these houses had minimal living conditions.
