25 Days Narfu Vally Trekking

The newly opened and it is spectacular regions of ethnically Tibetan inhabitants. This trek combines remote villages, narrow canyons, lovely forests, ridiculous rock formations, yaks, Gompas and unique Himalayan cultures. The entrance is narrow and forested the valley system above opens up to a huge expanse of high snow-peaks, ancient villages and high altitude settlements. Two long days of walking from the border of Tibet, Tilman first explored this region in the 1950s. Closed to trekkers until late 2002, very few westerners only have explored in this area. We can venture into this remote region of upper Manang, staying at the winter settlement of Nar, and visit one of the most non-visited and most interesting regions in the Tibetan Buddhist world where you feel really an extreme feeling.

Day 09: Trek to Meta (3530m.) the foot of Khanguru Himal 6981m.
Day 10: Junum to Phu valley.
Day 11: Excursion around Phu valley.
Day 12: Phu Valley to Nar Village
Day 13: Nar Village to Dharmasala 2800m.
Day 14: Dharmasala – koto –Chame (2713m)
Day 15: Chame to Pisang (3185m)
Day 16: Pisang to Manang (3440m)
Day 17: Manang acclimatizing day.
Day 18: Manang to Yak kharka (4210m)
Day 19: Yak kharka to Thorung phedi (4640m)/ Thorung High camp (4800m)
Day 20: Thorung phedi (4640m)/ Thorung High camp (4800m) via Thorung La (5416m) to Muktinath.(3802m)
Day 21: In the morning Muktinath Temple excursion and overnight at Kagbeni (2840m)
Day 22: Kagbeni to Jomsom (2713m)
Day 23: Jomsom by flight back to Pokhara (915m)
Day 24: Pokhara back to Katmandu by Tourist bus/Flight
Day 25: Departure from Kathmandu
