The Gavião takes to the sea in the marina of Funchal and drives to the Desertas Islands, (115th), currently Nature Reserve of sea lions and rare birds and recently recognized as a Biogenetic Reserve by the Council of Europe. The landing takes place in a sheltered cove of the Great Desert and includes a short guided tour of the island’s exploration, followed by a visit to the House of the watchers of the Nature Reserve. Opportunity still to enjoy the pleasures of a bath in the clear water of the sea and the comfort of a meal on board. After lunch, the Gavião sails back to Madeira.
