Inle Lake in southern Shan State, a 22 km long and about 11 km wide is allocated 875m above sea level, a natural lake surrounded by traditional Shan villages, homes of the Intha people who famous for one-leg-rower technique and building the villages rising from stilts shallow water, are living for ages. Board a private boat proceed on a full day excursion on Inle Lake. Your day will feature sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and the magnificent scenery.
And then excursion to western shore of the lake of ruins and hidden INN THEIN PAGODA complex. Along the way, passing through the busy villages which built tall houses on stilt and charming way of inhabitants of lake. And find the beginning of a stair path leading to the most amazing historical sights on the shore of the lake consisting of hundreds of small ruins and hidden stupas overgrown by moss and greens. Enjoy breathtaking views from the main stupa area on the top of the hills over surrounding and into the valley with the lake in the far distance.
Visit PHAUNGDAW OO PAGODA, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains most five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf by devout pilgrimages. Visit to the weaving village of INPAWKHON, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village where to observe how Burmese cigars, or “cheroots,” are traditionally packed and rolled by hand. End of the day on the lake with a pleasant sunset surrounded by mountains
