Panama City Tour

At 8am, we start a walking tour in the old town, Casco Antiguo, a world heritage site. This is by far the most interesting (cool) part of the city and walking these bricked streets will take you back in time to when the Spanish were moving Inca gold across the isthmus. Marvel at the architecture, learn about the history and gain some local knowledge about the best places to shop, eat and drink! The morning is a good time for the walk, before it gets busy and temps get high..
From here, we pass through the old canal zone, telling you all about the area the Americans once occupied while we are on our way to the famous PANAMA CANAL’s Miraflores Locks Visitor Center. You will have over 1.5 hours to explore the facility with it’s 4 floors, 3 viewing platforms, museum, interactive exhibits and theater. watch as these massive ships transit this engineering wonder of the world!
After we get our fill of the canal, lets head over Cerro Ancon to hear some more historic tales and cross the Bridge of the Americas for a nice view point of the canal before driving along the Amador Causeway to our favorite lunch spot.
Enjoy the views, the breeze and the food at this local favorite before we take on a short nature trail at Punta Culebra (closed on Mondays and holidays). Owned by the Smithsonian, this interesting area has lots of history as well as wild life! Keep your fingers cross and we might see a sloth!
The last stop of the tour will be at a PANAMA sign that is getting more and more popular for picture with the city skyline background.
