A 5 to 6 hour trail taking you away from the crowds and into nature. The views of the Atlantic and Cape Town city centre are magnificent.
We start with a warm up along the historic Pipe Track before taking the Kasteelspoort route up on the back of Table Mountain. This is a relatively steep ascent taking +/- 2 hours. At each break the views are even better.
Once on the top we visit the old cableway station which offers a fantastic photo opportunity before heading through the valley of isolation and Echo Valley to the plateau. Views South over the back of the mountain and of the reservoirs continuing right down to Cape point offer a chance to get your bearings and really see the city of Cape Town from another angle.
