"From the moment I was picked up at my hotel to the moment I was dropped off - this was an amazing experience. Our guide was knowledgeable, respectful, funny and always made us feel appreciated. Not for one minute did we feel rushed. We had the opportunity to enjoy the estate with wine, walk the grounds, meet with staff, go into the fields and harvest and then crush grapes. Staff were very accommodating to those with specific taste (one person wasn't a fan of red wine) and always were ready to keep our glasses filled. We were able to sample different products and at no time felt like it was a sales plow to purchase their product. Lunch was DELICIOUS and came with a history lesson about each regional dish. If you are considering a day in the Douro Valley and don't want to feel rushed - this is your tour!"

"Beatriz was a fantastic tour guide who was very easy to talk to and gave us great tips on other places to go in Porto! Everyone at the winery was also very nice and Catía was great at communication with us before the trip."

"Fizemos um tour belíssimo pelo Vale do Douro com o nosso simpático guia, Pedro! Tivemos a oportunidade de conhecer vinhos feito com a uva Moscatel (na vinícola Barros) e duas outras vinícolas mais voltadas à produção do vinho do porto! Além de serem vinícolas belíssimas fomos muito bem acolhidos nas degustações! Maravilhosas por sinal! Vale à pena o investimento de um dia!!!"

"Our guide, Beatrice, picked us up on time near our address in Porto. We were joined by one other couple, so a large comfy air-conditioned car was perfect for the day trip. Beatrice made the journey to Favaios flash by with stories of the region, the grapes and the produce. Our harvesting, stomping, and wine tasting was all carried out at one Vineyard where our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and intent on us having the best time. The wines are first class, the three course lunch delivered beautifully, and the afternoon saw a further tour to Pinhao and port wine country. A truly memorable experience. I left my phone in the car on the way back and the team tried to return it the same night, making sure I had before we left Porto the following morning. My thanks especially to Beatrice for hosting such a great day out."

"We booked a small group tour for the grape stomping and wine tasting in Douro Valley. It ended up being us and 1 other couple so 4 people total so it truly felt like a private tour. Antonio picked us up in Porto and gave us a great history lesson on the way out to the vineyard. We picked up the other couple along the way and they were wonderful people who ended up becoming good friends. The vineyard we went to was wonderful, we started with wine and cheese overlooking the vineyards while the vineyard dogs played around us. Then we gathered with another group to head out into the vineyards to the sounds of a local band, where we harvested and tasted the grapes. After about a half hour of picking it was time for a lunch, which included nearly 5 courses plus plenty of wine. We finished it off with sparkling wine leading to the grape stomping which was a fun experience. Antonio acted as our private guide through each step of the day and was a wealth of information, and since he knew everyone at the vineyard it seemed as if we got special treatment that made the tour incredible. His humor and knowledge really made this a once in a lifetime experience, he went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend him and his company for a fabulous tour!"
