Travel Insurance
One thing we always recommend is that you carefully consider the purchase of travel insurance before you set out on your journey from an office in your country which is different from travel insurance in Iran (Travel insurance covers the expenses of the insured inside boundaries of IRAN) that is included in the most of our tour packages.
Visa Information (How can I apply for Visa?)
Applicants can secure the visa by completing the form and receiving a pre-approval visa code and collect it at the International Airport of Tehran (the service fee is a complimentary service if you book your trip with us). Please note: - 14 days’ tourist visa is available for all of the nationalities with an authorized passport for visiting KISH, QESHM, and CHABAHAR (free zones). - A service fee is applicable to the visa process (which is as a complimentary service for the customers who purchase an escorted tour). This charge is different from the visa fee which you must pay to the consulate for stamping your passport - Please note that US, British and Canadian passport holders will need to book this trip at least 2 months before departure as this is the length of time it takes to process a visa for these nationalities.
Has Iran any dress codes?
Women: As a foreigner, a female traveler is officially expected to cover her hair. Usually, more tolerance tends to be shown towards foreigners over the detail of the dress code than is the case for Iranian women. However, this does not include leaving one’s hair fully uncovered. “Acceptable” outfits may include a, loose dress or shirt worn over loose skirt or pants and a scarf in the summer, and a woolen coat and scarf in the winter (calf-length is acceptable if worn over pants). All colors and modest designs are acceptable Men: Men are also required to abide by the following dress code: Short-sleeved shirts and t-shirts are acceptable for daily wear. Shorts and three-quarter length pants are acceptable on the beach. Dress attire for men is similar to that in Europe. It is quite acceptable in the areas outside though it denotes indifference toward or opposition against state regulations and values. Jogging in tracksuits is acceptable for men. General: Some mosques and most holy shrines require women to be wearing a chādor before entering the complex. If you don’t have one, there are sometimes kiosks by the door that lend or hire chādors. It is better for men to wear long-sleeved shirts inside a mosque or shrine, though this is not mandatory. Shoes are not worn within prayer areas of a mosque or shrine. Busier mosques have free shoe repositories where you trade your shoes for a token.
Food and Drink
- The good news for travelers is that Iranian cuisine is superb. A wide range of influences from Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia, Europe, and the Middle East have created a diverse, relatively healthy range of dishes that focus on fresh produce and aromatic herbs. It’s a safe bet that all food in Iran is halal and will conform to Islamic dietary laws - Iran has no alcohol available and it should not be consumed or transported to the country although you can enjoy a wide range of refreshment and soft drinks such as doogh (is a yogurt-based drink), Tea (is a famous and common one), sherbets (with different traditional favor)
Money and Currency
- The Iranian rial (﷼ in Persian) but symbolized internationally as IRR is the currency of Iran; however, prices are often quoted in Tomans (تومان). One Toman is equal to ten rials. - ATMs in Iran do not accept foreign (non-Iranian) cards except some which accept those from state banks, so bring all the money you might need in cash, preferably in US dollars or euros. Your tour manager helps you exchange the money.

Depends on your chosen travel category; you can travel to Iran in different seasons. Although some cities can be bitterly cold in its winter months, you can find cities where have glorious weather. It is fiercely hot during the summer, however, there are many tours which will be operated in this seasons in the north of Iran where the weather is lovely. The best time to visit is generally accepted to be the spring and autumn months.
