Châteaux of Chambord

"I went on this tour based on a freind's recommendation to go to the Loire chateaux outside of Paris. The three chateaux were interesting sites and enjoyable overall. Nissa our guide was very warm and patient and answered all our group's questions. We didn't feel rushed at any point though it was a long day which started at 7am and ended at 7.45pm ( at the meeting point). I would recommend for someone who wants to do an easy paced tour of castles with a excellent guide like Nissa."

"My husband and I took the Loire Valley tour and it was fantastic. Our guide Nieca was wonderful, fun, energetic and excited about showing us the Chateau and gardens. It was a well planned full day trip. We were practically the first ones to arrive at Chateau Chamboard so we almost had it all to ourselves. "Our trip had the added bonus that some of the other tour participants didn't turn up, so we had a private tour of the Loire Valley. Out tour guide spoke excellent English and engaged in conversation with us along the way and at each of the stops. Van was very nice and we were comfortable all the way. We found it a great way to get out of Paris without having to worry about transport or navigating or waiting time looking for things. We did a lot that day but we came home not feeling exhausted. "My family and I booked this day trip to the Loire Valley which was incredible. The countryside and 3 castles were beautiful. My favorite castle was Chenonceau. It had the most to see inside and I just loved the fact that it sat above the water. However, with that said I really like our visit the the City of Amboise, it was such a quaint town and really enjoyed having lunch and the wine tasting. Our guide Nicolas provided a wealth of information about the castles prior to going inside and then we were free to visit the castles inside on our own. For myself, I probably would have preferred less information prior to going inside the castle to allow more time inside but then again for a person who prefers alot of the history background of each castle, it didn't disappoint. Overall, a memorable experience and I would definitely recommend this tour to see the Loire Valley Castles. The drive was comfortable for the 7 of us, the pick up and drop off points were close to our hotel and the guide Nicholas was great."
