Jujuy

The province of Jujuy and its capital, San Salvador de Jujuy, attract many tourists to the northwest of Argentina because of the amazing natural landscapes. The region was part of the Inca empire in the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Jujuy derived its name from a type of Inca provincial governor. Jujuy is a place where cosmopolitan culture meets age-old traditions.
