What happens if the tour is canceled due to weather conditions?
Dolphin rides are always subject to weather and sea conditions. If the tour is canceled or changed, you will be contacted to try to reschedule. It may happen that tours are canceled at the last minute, as the sea can be unpredictable and we want your safety and comfort above all. You will always be refunded 100% if you cannot reschedule in case of bad weather.
Can children under 6 do the experience?
In order for children to enjoy, they must have a certain age. Do to our policy, we believe children under 6 years aren't old enough take the maximum of the experience.
Can we swim with dolphins?
No, swimming is not allowed on this tour. In Portugal, swimming with dolphins is allowed only in the Azores and Madeira.
Do you always see dolphins?
No. Dolphins are wild animals and are not fed. We never know if we'll find them. Last year we had a success rate of over 90% and we are improving! It is a true adventure.
Are there dolphins all year?
Yes, dolphins stay all year round. And this dolphin ride happens all year round.
Is it possible to observe species other than dolphins?
Sure! Dolphin watching tours are a true safari. We never know if you'll find it, but the seabirds are right, we also find sea turtles, sharks, whales and sunfish!
Is this dolphin ride suitable for babies and pregnant women?
No. RIB's are not recommended for infants under 5 years of age, pregnant women or people with back and neck problems.
Is the use of life jackets mandatory? Are child life jackets available?
Yes, we have comfortable jackets for all ages and weights.
Can we bring cameras and phones to photograph dolphins?
Yes, it's okay to take your camera and phone with you on the tour, but we are not responsible for any damage or loss that may occur.
How many people go in each boat?
Our boat has a maximum capacity of 12 people and 2 skippers / guides. If you need more, we can use boats with larger capacity or more than one.
Should I book my dolphin watching in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking in advance because our tours often sell out even in low season. In high season the boat usually get crowded!
When is the best time to watch dolphins?
We make morning trips, the sooner the better. As a rule, there is less wind in the morning and the sea is calmer.

Sid and Francesco were simply amazing guides. We had a unique experience with dolphins, swimming with them and playing with them for a lot of time. At one point there must have been 50 dolphins swimming with us. Definitely worth it, would recommend to anybody!

The tour guide Sid was very friendly and passionate about marine life. He has studied marine life in several countries and is very knowledgeable about Lisbon. We got a really good view of some dolphins in their own habitat and then went further around the coast to see the hospital.I would definitely recommend this tour!

Today I went on the Dolphin watching tour wirh a friend. We saw a lot of dolphins and the guide knows a lot about the area and nature. The captain, guide etc. cares a lot about the nature and the animals. Yes it was a great experience! :)

My partner and I took our 2 young girls on this trip and it didn't disappoint. At first we thought we were not going to see any dolphins then suddenly we saw a pod of 8 and shortly after a pod of about 40! Got plenty photos and the kids loved it. Would defo reccomend.

My husband, myself and our kids 11 and 15 went on the trip. The weather wasn’t cooperating, the guys did a great job of getting us to a southern location, where the water conditions were better. The staff was professional and knowledgeable, it was wonderful having a marine biologist with us every step of the way. The boat was very nice. The kids really enjoyed going fast in the boat. The views were amazing. We saw 5 or 6 dolphins and there were more below the surface. The life jackets were the newer style, bathroom was available before and after the boat ride, there was even a coffee and drinks shop. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our day. I would definitely go out with them again!
