"We booked this excursion and the first day was so good we immediately booked a second day of Jeep touring through this company. Alice was very helpful in booking our tours and Telmo was a miraculous guide. Telmo has lived on Sao Miguel for his whole life and clearly has great knowledge of the towns, history, culture, geography and botany. He constantly adjusted the plan to suit our wishes and to try to manage the variable weather and never hesitated to take photos of my wife and I for us. We had the pleasure of dining with Telmo at two fabulous restaurants that seemed infrequently found by the tourists. Overall, he took us to numerous amazing places we would never have found on our own. We are truly so grateful that he made our trip to the Azores as magical as it could be!"

"We took a wonderful half day tour with Telmo from Ponta Delgada to Sete Cidades. Telmo was incredibly knowledgable and took his time to make sure we had a great experience. The sites were amazing and he was able to take us places that not all tours can take you because of the vehicles they use. We wish we had more time to book another tour but will definitely do so when we return next year. Telmo also made an excellent recommendation for dinner in Ponta Delgada at a place that more caters to the locals. The sites were amazing but it's Telmo who really made the day special."

"The island is truly beautiful. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and had a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of the island. Due to the small size of our group he tailored the tour to our preferences. He drove a 4 x 4. This permitted us to access the crater rim road and many of the small country roads in the Sete area. Many people took the large bus tours and had a very limited tour on the main highways only. He even showed us an excellent restaurant in town after we returned. We highly recommend this company for your tour of the Azores."

"I'm not an adrenaline junky and I'm actually quite risk averse but this was a freaking blast. Such a fun way to see the island! Darcio took us on the east side route, where we went up to the dark forest and through the primordial cloud forest. Then we came down the north east side of Pico Alto and got a little (okay a lot) muddy on the farm roads. Splashes and puddles and jumps all available if you decide to go fast. Finished up the tour at Quinto de Azores for some gelato. Darcio is fun, knowledgeable about the cloud forest and the ecology of the island and he knows when to stop and take photos!"
