"From the moment our private guide Vasco picked us up at our hotel, we were treated like royalty. Vasco's knowledge of Lisbon is extensive. From the hilltop overlooking Lisbon to the back streets of Alfama, where we were treated to coffee in a local shop, to St. Jeronimous Monastery and warm pastries in Belem to churches and plazas of Lisbon, Vasco imparted the history and culture of the area. Vasco is gracious and accommodating. He looked for opportunities to take photos of us so we would remember our stay in Lisbon. This private tour is well worth the time and price."

Great tour of Lisbon hitting the major highlights. Several opportunities to get out and take time to take in the sights. Daniel was polite and very personable. When we went out to Belem, even stood in line to buy us the famous Pasteis de Belem. Concerned that everything was to our satisfaction and our well being, as my husband had an issue with stairs due to a recent injury. Would highly recommend. "Daniel was terrific. Prompt, kind, and full of knowledge about the history and what remains of the Jewish community. He started out at a beautiful hilltop site which overlooks Lisbon and pointed out areas of interest. It was a 4 1/2 hour tour and very complete. Took us to a very small synagogue where we understood the difficulties of maintaining Jewish life in Lisbon. This was a highlight for us as well as being with Daniel."
