Un diseño majestuoso, una espectacular zona selvática y pirámides y templos de piedra caliça rosada hacen de Uxmal una de las ciudades antiguas más pintorescas en la región Puuc, que significa "colinas" en el idioma maya yucateco, ya que las ruinas de Uxmal se hallan en un terreno montañoso . Este sitio arqueológico nombrado por la UNESCO como Patrimonio Mundial de la Humanidad, fue uno de los asentamientos mayas más importantes de Yucatán, que tuvo su auge durante el período clásico temprano. Uxmal, en la lengua maya yucateca, significa "construida tres veces", y se refiere a la construcción de la Pirámide del Adivino, esta construcción de forma ovalada es única en su tipo y representa la estructura más alta del sitio. Fue construida en etapas y su influencia, que según se cree, se extendía hasta el centro de México, y se refleja en su estilo arquitectónico.

After I made the booking online, nobody ever reached out to me to confirm the upcoming event. Usually, a day or two before such a tour, somebody will send an e-mail stating that the tour is going to occur soon and to review the meeting place and time. I would expect Experitour to do that since they were the company that received my online booking information. When I eventually contacted the Vintage Car Tour company, they initially had no record of my reservation. They were eventually able to find it, but I had to remind them that I went through Experitour. Not sure whose fault that was. These are minor details, but they prevent me from providing a 5-star review."
