Annapurna Sunrise trekking in Nepal is also popularly known as the Ghorepani Poon hill trek. It is short and sweet trekking from Pokhara. The trek is ideal for all kinds of trekkers like family, friends and solo trekkers. The maximum elevation of the trekking is 3,200m which is called Poon hill. Poon hill is the hill station for the Sunrise, Sunset and for the panoramic mountain views. Enjoy epic the sunrise in between the Himalayas including two world’s Eight thousand above peaks; Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m). As well as some others peaks such as Mount Fishtail, Nilgeril, Gangapurna, Dorge Lakpa Himal etc. This trek is immensely beautiful trekking trails in Annapurna region. This short trek starts and ends from Nayapul. If you have more time, you can extend your trip to Annapurna Base Camp or trek to Mustang – Lomanthag for more adventure experience. On the Annapurna Sunrise trek, the trail passes gradually go up until Ghorepani Poon hill and then smoothly trek down to Birethanti – Nayapul. Pass beautiful villages of Banthati, Tadapani, and Ghandruk village, along with the abundant beauty through oak forest, bamboo and rhododendron, and many species of birds will be your side attraction. Springs and autumn are the best seasons for Sunrise Annapurna trekking.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Trek to Ulleri
Day 4: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani
Day 5: Morning hiking to Poon hill then trek to Tadapani
Day 6: Trek from Tadapani to Syauli Bazaar(1170 m)
Day 7: Trek from Syauli Bazaar to Nayapul. Trek end. Drive to Pokhara.
