The program SSI Basic Diver (Diving Introduction) offers you a scuba diving experience before you decide to start your certification program. It is your opportunity to get to know the underwater world within the protected area of the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, enjoying the most extensive biodiversity in Europe, before starting your certification program. The program is internationally recognised by SSI (Scuba Schools International) and Wild Sea Europe.

- What To Expect

The Basic Diver Certification may dive under the direct supervision of an SSI Open Water Instructor to depths shallower than 12m, for a period of 6 months after the certification is obtained. In the same period, this certification my be upgraded to Open Water Diver.
