Sawasdee! Meet our Guide at your hotel in Krabi for a day marine at Ban Bor Thor.
Through Tham Lod Tai, you can take your canoe into the two narrow cavities and through to Tham Pee Hua Toe (Big-headed Ghost Cave) is Krabi’s most famous cave and a place you would leave from to get to Lot Cave only 500 meters away. It’s part of a limestone hill surrounded by mangrove forest. 3.5 meters above sea level, the cave features two large chambers with prehistoric paintings which shows human in prehistoric time and marine animals. The site is thought to have been a burial site of over 3,000 years ago, a suggestion supported by a number of large skulls found here. The cave also features attractive stalactite and a tiger paw print embedded in stone.
After explored we set for lunch, then we through to a vast lagoon inside, Tham Lod Nuea which is larger, offers a fertile mangrove forest as you navigate through a large sea cave resplendent with stalactites and stalagmites all the way. It is certainly the most beautiful canoeing route through the mangrove forest of Krabi.
