The Loire Valley is 130 miles to the south of France from Paris. The most important and stunning castles in the Loire Valley will take you to this tour. It is castles like Chambord, Amboise and Chenonceau that have made this area. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The history of these grand castles and the lifestyles of monarchs and aristocracy that lived in them during the French renaissance period will be told.

- What Will You Do

We will pick you up from the hotel using one of our comfortable vehicles at around 7.30am. On our way to the Loire Valley, our tour guide will give you an introduction to the history of the area. It's a 3 hour drive so we'll stop by to grab a coffee take a restroom break when required.

One of the finest, most beautiful and smallest of the three castles is the Château d'Amboise will be visited. Admire the 15th century furniture collection and household items on display. Also visit the grave of Leonardo da Vinci who was laid to rest here in a small chapel in the gardens.

We will stop by for a lunch. A gastronomic restaurant is recommended to enjoy a relaxed meal. You can speak to your guide for options.

We'll head to Chambord Castle after lunch. The largest in the Loire Valley and the picture of French Renaissance architecture. Surrounded by a large trench, this castle is post-card perfect. Your tour guide will take you for a personalized tour inside the castle and see the many highlights including a spectacular double spiral staircase that is perhaps the work of Leonardo da Vinci.

We will visit the spectacular and lavish Chenonceau Castle on River Cher and you'll have a personalized guided tour. Chenonceau is the most beautiful castle on our itinerary and after Versailles it is the most visited in France. Your guide will talk about its history and will tell why it is known as the Ladies' Château.

Once the tour concludes we will start the drive back to Paris. We aim to return you to your hotel at around 7.30pm. If you’d prefer to be dropped off at a restaurant or bar to continue your day in Paris, then please let us know.

- What To Expect

Travel Itinerary:

1. We will collect you from your hotel in one of our comfortable vehicles at around 7.30am. On our way to the Loire Valley, our licensed guide will give you an introduction to the history of the area. It's a 3-hour drive so we'll stop on the way to grab a coffee take a restroom break when required.
