The ONLY Way To See The REAL Marlborough Sounds

Join one of the last remaining ‘Genuine’ Mail Boats left in the world, still delivering mail and groceries as it has been for almost a century. Whilst we are delivering, you’ll visit isolated homesteads nestled in quiet secluded bays. View mussel farms and see why Pelorus Sound is the mussel capital of the world. Old timers row out in dinghies to meet us, while some receive their supplies on tiny, unspoilt beaches. The people of the Marlborough Sounds are as much a part of the area as the history and majestic beauty. It really is a great way to cruise the Marlborough Sounds!

Over the winter months (May to October), we deliver on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays; and during the summer months (November to April), we deliver Monday through to Saturday. Also, during the summer months, you can join us on Sundays for our ‘Best of the Sounds Cruise’. View all cruise options now. Not only that, but we offer transfers and boat charters around the Pelorus Sound!

Join us on our mail boat for the experience of a lifetime. Let us take you on our spectacular mail run or drop you at your accommodation in the Marlborough Sounds.
