We will arrive to our BaseCamp where we will enter in a fence full of friendly reindeer. It is time to feed them! Some reindeer will come running to your bowl of food and others even will let you pet them! This is perfect for making close up photos and being near reindeer in an animal friendly way.
After spending time with them we will have a some hot drinks and homemade bakeries in our Coffee place.
We will share some stories about herdering lifestyle.

4. Enjoy of a just made lappish delicacies by our local guide.

Is it safe to feed reindeer? Do they bite?
Totally safe. Reindeer are not aggresive by nature. Instead if they feel threat or danger they will go away. Each reindeer fence count with a huge land where they can spend time alone or away from us, if they need. Usually reindeer are curious and with food they will come even next to you and don't mind touching.
Are the reindeer forced or tied to the trees?
For any reason we will do that, reindeer are in their habitat and we won't never force them to do anything they don't want. We have been teaching them with love and patience that if they come to people they will get their favourite snacks.
What are the local delicacies?
Depend the day, month and Janita's inspiration. We can offer different kind of salty and sweet snacks that comes perfectly after feeding the cutest animals of Lapland.
Is there a warm place nearby?
Yes, we have our Kota Cafe where it has a fireplace and stays really warm during the activity. In any time you are free to go inside.
